Advice hub offers free support to those making career decisions this Autumn

Families across the UK have been hit with unprecedented challenges in recent times and with soaring energy bills set to be the next hurdle this winter, there is an initiative in Cornwall to help households spring back!

The People Hub offers financial and coaching aid to those in Cornwall or the Isles of Scilly seeking to make the first step towards new career horizons.

A spokesperson from the hub said: “When you contact the People Hub, one of our friendly team members here in Cornwall will talk to you.

“They will guide you through a short and easy personal action plan, and will be a helpful ear whilst they talk you though relevant courses, qualifications, funding and support that you can access to give yourself a boost this autumn.”

From CV advice to signposting you to home working positions, to helping you on your way with gaining qualifications like GCSE maths, there is lots of help available.

This is a supported programme, where transport and childcare can be arranged if you enrol on one of the courses. Uniform can also be bought if and when you get that new position you are aiming for.
