Late-night shopping starts in Truro
After Truro’s Christmas light switch-on November 19, Wednesday late night shopping is underway and what better way to get into the Christmas spirit than by taking your family along for a festive evening to remember?
With the roads being pedestrianised from 15:00, take time to appreciate the jolly atmosphere, with entertainment, festive light shows, and a variety of different street food being rolled out until 21:00!
For the fourth year running, large projections will be cast onto the TUI building in Boscowan Street, adding to the festive spectacle. This year the display consists of artwork submitted by seven local primary schools that entered a Christmas card competition.
If you are planning on using the Park and Ride Service, the last bus will leave the city center at 21:30 allowing plenty of time for you to explore the wonderful wintery things happening across the city.
The Truro Famers Market will be in full swing until 21:00, too, adding to the extended winter hours of the market which is now open from 9-17:00 and 10-16:00 on Saturday and Sunday respectively.
With a rotation of over 100 traders throughout the festive season, there is bound to be something that captures your or your little one’s imagination at the Big Christmas Market.
